France has adopted Douglas MacDiarmid, celebrated New Zealand artist. At 84 years of age, he continues to paint. We meet a courageous man who assumes his status as an eternal stranger, which allows him a rather objective view of our world today. He shares with us the fruits of his life's observations on ten important issues that are at the heart of our existence: beliefs, conflict, communication, progress, respect, ambition, responsibility, tradition, time, and work.
