In tropical northern Australia, Grace, her boyfriend Adam and her younger sister Lee take a fishing tour on a flooding river with a local guide. Their boat is attacked by a crocodile. The guide is killed and the three holiday-makers are stranded in a tree in a flooded mangrove swamp. To survive they must elude the man-eater and reclaim their overturned boat.
